Paul Meyer Buys Houses

DJIA is 50 pts away from $12,000.

As everyone is predicting and moving the market the Dow hit almost $12,000 today up a little over 90pts.   Most of my stocks really didn’t move until the end of the day.  It’s like they were sleeping and then bam the alarm clock went off and they were like we better get to work because so is everyone else.   A short term breaker today was definitely Apple Computer up 2 pts around $75 to close.  It is definitely going higher.  My short term goal to get sold out of my calls is around $79.  Sears Holding Company also had a good charge today.  Yesterdays small pull back helped created a bigger move today upwards.  AAPL and SHLD kind of follow each other.  Apple has just been choppy the past couple of days.  I’m already up 25% in my option.  I’m not selling it until I’m up 100%.  I feel my instincts to buy when I did were correct.  The charts matched what I thought about the $73 price support level.  Everytime it hits around there it just back up to $75.  One and half day getting 25% return its awesome.   Try that at any bank and they will ask you how you did it.  Then when you reply they will probably say that is too risky and good luck.  This is of course why they work at the bank and not own the bank.

Another thing to write about is this new Wal-Mart job employment issue.  I think WMT can handle the fine, but I think it just hurts the companies reputation more and more.  My roommate has never gone into a Wal-mart and will not because she thinks it a big bad company hurting the small businesses.  This blows my mind.  Seriously, but I also know her parents own a small photo lab business and I’m sure it takes away a lot of their family business income.  I find it impossible AND fascinating that she will not enter the store.  It’s cool because I don’t know many people who don’t give into Wal-Mart like how she feels.  The store is great although it could work on labor laws and helping countries out where it cuts them out, but Wal-Mart wouldn’t be what it is if it didn’t practice those big corporate america games.  I speculate the stock to go down in the mean time on this negative news.
